£££ Competitive Tree Surveys anywhere in the UK
Tree surveys are undertaken by people who are educated, trained, experienced and insured to perform tree assessments for e.g. mortgage approval, BS5837 planning requirements, for health and safety and for subsidence. This person is a “tree surveyor,” or “tree consultant.”
Tree Surveys by in-house Tree Surveyors
Unlike most companies providing tree surveys, whom use sub-contractors (often called ‘associates’) to provide a service; at TreeSurvey.co.uk we have an in-house team of 8 tree surveyors and tree consultants, who are based in our offices and at home, throughout the UK, including all areas of the southeast, east- and west-midlands and north England.
We provide BS5837 Tree Surveys for Planning Applications £349
All planning authorities in the UK are duty bound to assess your proposed development’s impact upon trees and other vegetation, both on and off site. This requires a suite of documents, collectively referred to as BS5837 tree surveys. These include: (a) a tree survey schedule, which is a data set and contains the raw information collected during the survey e.g. species, height, diameter, notes and recommendations; (b) a tree constraints plan, which is a plan of your site with the trees plotted on accurately, showing their BS5837 retention category, root protection areas and canopy spreads. Because this information is presented graphically, it is very easy to understand and interpret, even by laypersons. Being a professional consultancy practice, we produce these plans using AutoCAD, and can export them in any format you require. Finally, you get (c); the summary report, which is an explanatory document, naming the surveyor and his/her qualifications, and providing definitions for technical jargon–we have to use some, regrettably.
We provide Tree Surveys for Tree Preservation Order applications
Our experts can provide tree preservation order (TPO) checks at your property and free, informal advice about how best to approach a tree preservation order (TPO) application for works to your trees. normally this would start with an assessment of the tree (or trees!) and a formal report, that focuses on delivering a plain-English conclusion, to either secure you the works or give you a robust reason for why we think the council is unlikely to consent to your proposals.
Tree Risk Assessments and Tree Surveys for Peace of Mind £299
Do you have trees on your property? Do you worry about them failing in extremes of weather or have you noticed a decline in their condition? If so, our tree condition surveys might be just the ticket. From just £299, we will visit your site and undertake a no-negative recording survey. This means we don’t charge you money for writing a report that includes data about trees that are perfectly healthy or low risk. Rather, you get a summary report that includes detailed info abut trees that have been positively recorded as unacceptable risk–giving you the information you need to act quickly and robustly on any potential hazards presented by trees at your property. We do this for individual trees, local authority trees and third party owned trees all the time, so call us to discuss your situation; we’ve probably done something very similar recently!
We provide Tree Surveys for Mortgage Approval £199
Most major mortgage lenders, in particular British based banks such as Barclays and HSBC, will require a statement from a tree surveyor to the effect that “there is no arboricultural reason” why a mortgage cannot be released on this property. Of course, this follows a detailed survey of trees and cursory visual inspection of your buildings, and that assessment being satisfactory. Normally the trees’ structural and physiological condition will be assessed for safety risks and any management recommendations highlighted in the recommendations section of our report.
UK coverage for Tree Surveys of all types
We do not exclude coverage of the southwest, Scotland or Wales, though predominantly our consultancy reports and tree surveys are performed in our primary areas, listed at the bottom of this page.
